Stress Management for Massage and Bodywork Professionals
4 CE Hours
As caregivers, we often don't take the time to focus on our own well-being. Our attention is most often focused on helping others. This class will enlighten and empower individuals simply to make better choices in regards to your own health and well-being. Through lecture, discussion, individual and group exercises participants will learn how stress affects the body as well as various ways to reduce and even eliminate stress from your life. Some topics include positive thinking, breathing techniques, guides imagery,and emotional awareness. By taking care of yourself, you will be in a much better position to assist others in their own healing.
Mindful Massage
4 CE Hours
As a massage and bodywork provider it is vital to be 100 percent present while working with your client. Modern medicine is now recognizing the importance of the mind-body connection and the role mindfulness plays in the healing process. Participants will learn powerful techniques as well as some amazing strategies for increasing mind-body health which can create a profound healing environment for you and your client. This course will include the latest research and strategies for taking a more holistic approach to overall health and well-being.
Continuing Education classes for Reiki training
Level 1 … 7 hrs.
Level I Reiki Certification:
Includes Level I student manual,overview of the history of Reiki, Reiki principles, ideals and ethics. Level I Reiki energy attunement, Reiki guide meditation, Introduction to the human energy system, how to provide a full Reiki treatment, Reiki self treatment procedure. Level I Reiki certificate upon completion. (7 ceufor Massage Therapists)
