Qigong (pronounced Chee Gung) combines gentle movements, relaxed breathing and focused intention. Qigong can benefit anyone regardless of age or level of fittness. There are 1,000 different styles of qigong. One style is called Tai Chi. We teach an integral style of qigong/Tai Chi combining many different styles or forms to allow for safe, easy and effective results. Qigong is considered a highly effective health care practice.

If you practice consistently it can help you regain vitality, maintain health even into old age and help speed recovery from illness. Research confirms that Qigong reduces hypertension and the incidence of falling in the elderly population.

There are a wide variety of Qigong practices. They vary from the simple, internal forms to the more complex and challenging external styles. Everyone can benefit, from the most physically challenged to the super athlete. There are Qigong classes for children, senior citizens and every age in between. individuals with osteoporosis, parkinson's and even cancer can benefit from practicing Qigong/Tai Chi.
